(and how to fix them)
December 18, 2019 11:00 AM to Noon, Eastern Time (8:00 - 9:00 AM Pacific Time)
Learn practical ways to improve and expand your state or your community’s efforts to take back and dispose of dangerous medications that are an important contributor to substance abuse and addiction. While much is already being done to advance this important prevention strategy, most communities are making five critical mistakes that greatly reduce the desired impact of these efforts. This webinar clearly identifies these mistakes and then shares ways to upgrade existing efforts for greater success. Participants will learn about valuable resources to help communities develop robust and pragmatic strategies to address the opioid crisis—with a deep dive focusing on ways to improve drug take-back and disposal programs.

Affordable Innovations for Maternal & Child Health and (way) Upstream Prevention
30 minute recorded webinar (from October, 2019)
As part of helping communities and healthcare providers better improve health outcomes, the Population Health Learning Collaborative introduces innovative technologies that can be economically deployed as part of strategies to address health and well-being of community members.
October’s webinar features two exciting innovations that can help to address Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) that is so important in helping children succeed in life. These are important upstream interventions that can be done to address health priorities such as disparities in maternal mortality, infant mortality or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
The presentation will introduce some innovative ways to improve Social Emotional Learning that will be shared in greater detail in the November 12 webinar. Have questions or need help? Please contact Liz Gallagher via email liz.gallagher@insightformation.com or call her at (763) 331-8291.
